The Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs and ChicaGourmets present "A Winter's Song" Madrigal Dinner. An annual musical and visual celebration in the Renaissance style of Merrie Olde England, the Madrigal features the Illinois State University Madrigal singers. This dinner, which is now in its 51st year, is the longest running event of its kind in Illinois. Celebrate Halloween at the Cultural Center with Magic, Music and Make-Believe

The Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs presents the family-friendly Hallowed Halls event Magic, Music and Make-Believe: A Halloween Celebration. Activities take place throughout the Chicago Cultural Center building at 78 East Washington Street. Families are encouraged to come in costume, and all ages are welcome. This year's festivities include special Wicked-themed facepainting and crafts, courtesy of the musical Wicked -- the Untold Story of the Witches of Oz, such as:
