Millennium Park's Ice Skating Rink Opens for Seventh Season

The McCormick Tribune Ice Rink in Millennium Park will open for the 2007-08 season on Wednesday, November 14 and will remain open through Sunday, March 16, 2008, weather permitting. This is the seventh skating season for the popular McCormick Tribune Ice Rink, which draws more than 100,000 skaters annually.

This sequel to Gunther von Hagens' "Body Worlds" exhibit, which debuted at the MSI in 2005, presents a new look at human physiology and health through more than 20 full-body plastinates and 200 preserved human specimens. Observe the body's various systems, compare healthy and diseased organs, understand how our bodies respond to physical challenges and more.

The Yes! Yes! Valentine's Day Show

Explore the journey of falling in love -- the highs, the risks and the dangers of throwing yourself into something new. Big Theater presents The Yes! Yes! Valentine's Day Show at Swim Cafe, a daunting endeavor for those involved as the show will be created a mere 24 hours before it opens. Keeping the creation process fast-paced and unpredictable helps capture the volatile feelings that encompass love. That is to say, the show, like love, could be sublimely wonderful or it could be horrendously awful. You be the judge. The show runs February 10, 11 and 14 at 8pm at Swim Cafe, 1357 W.
