Dear Sirs:
I was pleased to hear your feature today on Canada's first national internment operations of 1914 -1920. It is a national disgrace that Mary Manko Haskett, who was interned as a young child in the camp in Spirit Lake, Quebec, passed away last week in her 99th year, not having witnessed a resolution of this long outstanding matter. If indeed it is Ottawa's mandarins who have managed to manipulate several governments into side stepping this issue, it is high time that their political bosses, our elected representatives, took them to task. Prime Minister Harper - over to you.
